Solid is a revolutionary protocol at the forefront of the coming Web 3.0 era, with inherent privacy, sharing and content features designed to take back control of our Internet lives. Individual pods securely store our personal details, contacts, data, photographs, videos, music, and everything else we create - published or private. We determine who, and what apps, access anything. We can host pods on our personal servers, or rent from a Pod hosting company. Nobody else is in control of or owns our data - if we want to move to a new provider, we port everything over to the new host.
Holo is a decentralised, distributed new hosting platform in the post-blockchain space. Holo Pods store our public-facing content, interacting with apps and other people following smart contract rules we determine. Like Solid, content, contacts and settings can be ported across the Internet, and both can use "Satellites" to publish public content. MyPod.ID is an integral part of the user experience flow to keep everything connected and updated, through Web 3.0 and beyond.
